Ersözlü: “The Fairs Once Again Have Revealed Their Industry Leadership with Their Momentum Increasing Every Year”
Tüyap Bursa Fairs Organization Inc. General Manager İlhan Ersözlü has talked about the successful Fairs, saying "Being one of the biggest chain of Tüyap Agricultural Fairs in terms of the number of visitors and area of square meters, Bursa Agriculture and Livestock Fairs have again gotten the expected attention from the industry this year. The Fairs, which were organized on a total area of 75,000 m2 in 7 different halls with the participation of 451 firms and firm representatives from 22 countries, were visited by 305,726 people from 48 countries in 5 days, and have revealed their leadership in the industry, which is a great indicator of the normalization of the industry economy.
As a consequence of our Prime Minister Binali YILDIRIM's comments during the launch of "National Agriculture Project" in Izmir and our Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Faruk ÇELİK's comments regarding the fairs, over 100,000 farmers from all over Turkey visited the Turkish agriculture fairs in one day for the first time in history, and this is a record."
The Fairs, among all the agriculture fairs organized in our country, where product ranges from 7 climatic regions are exhibited, have become a major industry meeting in 14 years. The Fairs have reached the potential to cover 10% of Turkey's agricultural machinery export, thanks to the business deals. Modern agricultural equipment and technologies suitable for innovative farming applications were exhibited during these Fairs, which made great contributions to the tractor and agricultural mechanization sales, and really uplifted the industry. Once again the Fairs have been very helpful to a lot of industries with their contributions to the economy, social and cultural life of Bursa city.
A Bridge Between Continents: The Big Meeting of The Agriculture and Livestock Industries
Thanks to the effective works of Tüyap foreign offices, coordination of Ministry of Economy and the organization of Bursa Chamber of Trade and Industry, purchasing committees coming to the Fairs from Afghanistan, Germany, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, United Arab Emirates, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Algeria, China, Denmark, India, Croatia, Netherlands, Morocco, France, Palestine, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, England, Israel, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Kuwait, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Kosovo, Lebanon, Hungary, Macedonia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Oman, Jordan and Greece have increased the country's export volume in the industry with their commercial partnerships.
Again this year, around 2000 buses took off in 78 cities to bring sector representatives and professionals to the fair.
One-on-One Business Meetings Were Organized
With the support of KOSGEB and the Bursa Chamber of Trade and Industry, one-on-one business meetings between foreign businesspersons and our participant firms were organized in the Fair area on 14 October Wednesday.
Bursa Agriculture Congress Opened Its Doors for the 4th Time
Bursa Agricultural Congress, organized simultaneously for the fourth time with the collaboration of TMMOB Chamber of Agricultural Engineers, TMMOB Chamber of Agricultural Engineers Bursa Branch, Agricultural Chambers Bursa Provincial Coordination Committee Department and Uludağ University School of Agriculture, was held at the Çekirge Conference Hall on October 13, 14 and 15 2016.
World Farmer Women's Day Was Celebrated at the Fair
Members of Bursa manufacturing women associations visited our Fair on 14 October Friday with the organization of Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and Bursa Provincial Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. Our country owns efficient agricultural resources, and strong women of our country added color to the most important fair of the industry.

Faruk ÇELİK, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, visited our Fairs on 15 October Saturday and put a smile on the faces of the farmers with his comments regarding the agricultural industry which is among the most important production industries of our country. Minister Çelik gave information about the details of Basin Based Production Support and he uplifted the productive women with hi comments, celebrating the World Farmer Women's Day.
